The National Transport Museum .. EXCELLENT! we struck it lucky that we were staying behind the Museum and Sunday was an Open Day at the museum but even if it wasn’t the price to come in is very reasonable considering the amount of displays and time it would take to see everything.
The Kenworth Truck area was amazing, to see so many beautifully restored trucks all in one huge shed was worth the visit alone, but shed after shed had more interesting vehicles and displays.
Well worth a visit
Well worth the admission cost,
The collection was amazing, especially the condition of most of the vehicles.
The range of Cummins Engines
An Old Fire Truck
The Grey Fergie, we had one identical on our property at Argyle
Rows and rows of vintage vehicles
Replica of an old garage
More and more, you could easily take days to see it all
Just some of the hundreds of Hall Of Fame plaques
Nice Mini Cooper S
Not everything was shiny and restored, this Dodge Garden Art was cool
The Kenworth museum display was simple amazing,
So many different models of Kenworth trucks through the years
Beautiful
Dave standing next to a very tall Kenworth, the size of those wheels !
This was my favourite, I could see myself driving interstate in this
More garden art, this wasn’t going anywhere
The last Cab to Darwin, from the movie of the same name
Actor Michael Caton played the part of the Taxi Driver, great movie
Just some of the number plate collection
Around the external fences they had old tractors and trucks
More tractors out around the fences
