Telegraph Track 10th August 2018
After travelling to the tip we left Seisia and went back to Bramwell Junction. The plan was to leave the vans and travel the Old Telegraph Track to check out Gunshot, there was a few vehicles having a play at the different river crossings, all of which were dry. At Gunshot no one was tackling the Big One with everyone taking the Chicken Track, we did the same. All in all, it wasn’t too exciting, same type of 4WD stuff we did 20 years ago a lot closer to home. After watching a few vehicles we decided to drive on further to Elliot Falls on the Bamaga Road instead of doing it the following day, we got within 30k and came across an old boy with a broken axle on his caravan so we took his details and headed back to the Bramwell Roadhouse so they could organise a flat top truck to get it. No idea what happened after that but he may have had to wait a day or so for help to arrive.
