Today it was a relaxed morning around camp and the afternoon we drove to the visitors information centre for a look followed by a drive to Ubirr for some rock art and walk which was very nice, especially the views from 1/2 way up the climb, we didn’t bother climbing any further, it was hot and couldn’t see the point.
Around 4.30 we drove to Cahill crossing hoping to see what has become quite famous with dozens of crocs catching fish as they come over the causeway / road on a high tide, for us it was a non event with the only crocs spotted were well away from where we were. Can’t win them all.
Tomorrow we leave Jabiru and head to Yellow Waters 50k south of here. We are booked on a cruise the following morning, looking forward to that.
