We have just started an 18 month to 2 year lap of oz!!! We love your blog, and visited ningaloo station. We stopped and payed for 2 nights and stayed nearly 3 weeks!!! We were very lucky with the weather evn though it's late in the season, we are heading to the kimberlies for he wet season.... Gee you guys travel a ...Just read your latest post. Gee you guys travel a long way in a day. Any more than 100 klms and I think I have driven a marathon. It has taken two weeks to drive from Mt.Beauty to Yerong Creek to Coolamon to Ariah Park to Forbes and finally Parkes. Even then I think I should have spent some time in the small towns I drove through. I also wanted to mention there is a good Freedom Campsite at Lightning Ridge on the highway behind where to Main Roads Rest is located. You need to be self contained and we stayed for three nights.
